Chief Strategy & Commercial Officer

Responsibilities Own the end-to-end commercial strategy for BEWS, including deal structure, pricing frameworks, contract governance, and terms management across all regions. Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Product to ensure commercial decisions are aligned with business priorities and risk appetite. Establish commercial policies, approval frameworks, and guardrails that enable speed without sacrificing margin or compliance. Lead commercial reviews of strategic and high-value deals, providing guidance and escalation support to regional teams. Drive commercial performance visibility — tracking win rates, deal health, margin trends, and contract outcomes across the business. Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with key customers, industry partners, and channel stakeholders. Qualifications 12+ years of progressive leadership across strategy, commercial management, and business development — including at least 5 years in a P&L‑owning or executive‑level role in the technology industry. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategy in a complex, fast‑moving enterprise technology environment. Deep expertise in complex deal structuring, contract negotiation, and commercial risk management. Proven track record of building and scaling business development functions — opening new markets, closing strategic partnerships, and driving measurable revenue impact. Experience leading strategic planning processes and translating strategy into operational priorities and resource decisions. Ability to operate across a globally matrixed organization, influencing without direct authority and aligning diverse stakeholders across functions and regions. Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex strategy and commercial insight clearly and credibly to senior leadership, boards, and external partners.
