STUDENT-Park Promotions - Public Relations & Comms Director

The Public Relations & Communications Director serves as the strategic communications leader for Park Promo, the student-run agency supporting the Roy H. Park School of Communications. As a member of the agency's leadership team, the Public Relations & Communications Director develops and executes integrated communications strategies that enhance the visibility, reputation, and engagement of the Park School among key audiences, including prospective students, current students, alumni, faculty, staff, industry partners, and the broader community.

The Public Relations & Communications Director oversees media relations, public affairs, strategic messaging, reputation management, internal communications, and promotional campaigns while leading a team of student communications professionals. This role works collaboratively across Park Promo's social media, creative, marketing, digital storytelling, and events teams to ensure consistent, compelling, and effective communication of the Park School's mission, achievements, and opportunities.

The Public Relations & Communications Director serves as the chief architect of Park Promo's communications strategy, helping shape how the Roy H. Park School of Communications is perceived by internal and external audiences. Through strategic messaging, media outreach, stakeholder engagement, and reputation-building initiatives, this role amplifies the School's achievements and strengthens its position as a leader in communications education while providing students with hands-on experience in professional public relations and strategic communications.
