We are currently seeking a Manager, Forms Technology who is responsible for the overall management, performance, and strategic utilization of all molds and form making assets used in the manufacture of precast shaped products. This role provides direct leadership and development of the Forms team, including setting priorities, allocating resources, coaching employees, managing performance, and building organizational capability, while ensuring production requirements, quality expectations, safety standards, and operational objectives are achieved. Beyond operational management, the Manager, Forms Technology serves as the organization's technical leader for form technology innovation and continuous improvement. The role is responsible for the design, selection, optimization, maintenance, and technological advancement of molds and forming systems that enable the efficient, and repeatable production of high-quality precast shaped productsThis role will require domestic and international travel to Allied manufacturing facilities, suppliers, and vendors, up to 20%.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead, develop, and manage seven (7) direct reports, including performance management, coaching, training, and employee development.Execute an efficient manufacturing schedule that maximizes form utilization, balances production capacity, and supports customer delivery requirements.Establish priorities, coordinate cross-functional requirements, manage project timelines, support team development, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout all aspects of form operations.Manage workflows associated with form design, construction, setup, dimensional accuracy, and inspection.Identify opportunities to streamline operations, eliminate bottlenecks, reduce cycle times, and improve plant productivity.Ensure that forms remain dimensionally accurate, reliable, and available to meet production.Track performance metrics such as form utilization, production throughput, setup efficiency, maintenance costs, schedule adherence, and quality performance.Drive innovation in form construction materials and manufacturing technologies by evaluating and developing new form materials and construction methods designed to improve durability, flexibility, safety, and manufacturing performance.Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure that form systems support production goals, optimize workflows, and maximize productivity.Promote and implement best practices in form fabrication and design, supporting standardization and continuous improvement across Allied Shapes facilities.Manage capital and operating budgets for the form manufacturing functional area.QualificationsRequires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, other similar technical field.At least five years of supervision experience required.At least five years of related work experience.Prior carpentry or fabrication skills are preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills required.Requires excellent spatial reasoning and a practical approach to problem solving.Knowledge of mechanical design principles required.Ability to use a computer for CAD and other tasks.Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.Additional skills useful to this position include knowledge of CNC machinery, woodshop fabrication tools, and engineering GD&TWorking EnvironmentThe job can be in a dusty environment.Production floor is in a non-temperature-controlled building.Required to wear respirator (when needed), safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes.BenefitsCompetitive Base PayEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) retirement plan with 25% annual company contribution401K programAnnual Profit SharingPaid Time Off for Vacation, Sick Days, HolidaysMedical, Prescription Drug, Dental, and Vision programsLife InsuranceShort-Term, and Long-Term disabilityAllied Mineral Products Holding, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
