This super part-time contract position offers experienced Speech-Language Pathologists the chance to make a meaningful difference, working one-on-one with a 20-year-old student who uses AAC (PECS) for communication. The position spans June 8-26 and July 13-31, with a commitment of just one hour per week. Scheduling is flexible; you can select any hour between 9 am and 3 pm during each week that fits your routine.

Ideal applicants will bring a passion for pediatric and school-based speech therapy, along with confidence in supporting AAC users.

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Active SLP-CCC credential and appropriate state licensure
• Previous experience in school or pediatric SLP roles
• Proficiency supporting students who use AAC systems, specifically PECS
• Compassionate, patient, and skilled communicator
• Commitment to individualized, student-centered therapy

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech therapy tailored to the needs of one student working towards communication goals
• Employ AAC and PECS to facilitate expressive and receptive language development
• Document session activities, progress, and recommendations for school and family teams
• Collaborate with educational staff as needed for continuity of student support
