About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with direct cabinetry and millwork project management experience to join our team in Ocala, Florida. This is a critical role responsible for overseeing commercial cabinetry and architectural millwork projects from award through closeout.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Ocala office.

What You'll Do

As the Project Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact between clients, production teams, installation teams, vendors, architects, and general contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from award through closeout, ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Develop project execution plans and maintain project schedules.
• Coordinate submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Review architectural drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage customer communications and maintain strong client relationships.
• Coordinate closely with production and installation teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability.
• Prepare and manage accurate monthly progress billings.
• Identify long-lead materials and proactively address scheduling concerns.
• Attend job site meetings as required.
• Manage punch list items, closeout packages, and quality control documentation.
• Negotiate and administer subcontractor and customer contracts.
• Track and process change orders from pricing through execution.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial cabinetry, millwork, architectural woodwork, casework, or related specialty construction.
• Proven experience managing projects from award through installation and closeout.
• Ability to read, interpret, and review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and customer relationships.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with construction project management software such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWI standards and quality control documentation.
• Knowledge of CAD or drafting software.
• Previous experience working with commercial millwork manufacturers.
• Experience coordinating production and installation teams.
