For low-income and uninsured residents of Contra Costa County, CCH is the safety net, providing medical services not available to them elsewhere. CCH is seeking to fill one (1) vacancy located in Martinez, CA. Health Services Finance is the centralized accounting department with a dedicated accounting unit for each program operated by Contra Costa Health. With the responsibility of managing a budget of nearly three billion dollars, the Finance Department is seeking multiple qualified candidates to perform complex accounting work for the Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Homeless, Detention, and Contra Costa Health Plan programs. Candidates will be matched with the program(s) that best fits their background and skill set and will report to the managers of these units. The Health Services Accountants will be responsible numerous financial duties including monitoring program budgets, overseeing preparation of monthly financial projections and statistical reporting, managing grants and monitoring the associated grant audit reporting and regulatory requirements, adapting to financial system changes, responding to requests in a timely manner, performing analysis of various financial reports, directing or coordinating the work of other accounting staff and other assigned financial duties.
