Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a part of our expanding team. In this role, you will wield advanced ultrasound equipment to carry out crucial diagnostic tasks, collaborate with a team that values compassion and care, and, most importantly, bring peace of mind to patients through your expertise in imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort during procedures, ensuring clear communication at each step
• Work in tandem with radiologists and physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, quickly reporting any technical issues
• Keep comprehensive and accurate records of procedures within our electronic medical records system
• Continuously update your knowledge on the latest advancements in ultrasound practices and techniques

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current ARDMS or equivalent certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
