Sr. Manager, Prod/Pipeline Comms Trauma

Senior Manager position responsible for developing and executing product and pipeline communications strategies for the Trauma franchise at DePuy Synthes (Johnson & Johnson's planned orthopedics separation). The role requires translating clinical evidence and market insights into integrated communications across multiple channels to support product adoption, brand credibility, and business growth through cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop communications strategies informed by customer insights, market dynamics, and business priorities to strengthen portfolio differentiation and support adoption
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement integrated activations, narratives, and pipeline storytelling across earned, owned, shared, and paid channels
- Lead communications planning for priority moments including product milestones, congresses, and customer engagement activities
- Ensure all communications maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Manage agency partners and external vendors to deliver high-quality activations on time and within budget
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, Life Sciences, or related field
- 8-10 years progressive experience in communications or marketing within medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences
- Proven track record leading product and pipeline communications for complex portfolios
- Strong ability to translate technical and clinical concepts into clear, compelling messaging
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, and multiple simultaneous projects independently
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Demonstrated success in highly matrixed, cross-functional environments
