Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, formulating tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address unique challenges and aspirations, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic modalities suitable for diverse populations, and encouraging active participation.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to coordinate integrated care and monitor client progress.

• Educate and support clients’ families to enhance understanding of mental health issues, promoting their involvement in the recovery process.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines, ensuring the integrity of client information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve come from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, seeking assistance for various mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and more. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in New York state is a must.

• At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in mental health counseling techniques and treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal, therapeutic, and counseling skills, enabling the formation of strong client relationships.
