Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual, family, and group counseling sessions to address clients' mental health needs, enabling them to identify issues and develop effective coping strategies.

• Designing and implementing treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific challenges, including mental health disorders, trauma, and dual diagnosis.

• Utilizing our cloud-based EHR system to maintain accurate and compliant client records, ensuring seamless coordination with insurance providers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing various mental health issues, trauma histories, and those requiring support for dual diagnoses. Your empathetic approach will help in building strong therapeutic relationships that encourage clients’ progress toward their mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a history of effectively helping clients.

• Strong proficiency in using technology for telehealth services, with reliable internet access, a computer or laptop, and a webcam.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently to deliver high-quality care.

• A willingness to undergo a complete background check prior to employment.
