This role is primarily remote, providing flexibility while you engage with clients and colleagues. Our outpatient office serves as a state-of-the-art facility where collaboration happens seamlessly. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be entrusted with:

• Facilitating group therapy sessions that create an atmosphere of sharing and healing among clients, allowing them to connect and learn from their peers.

• Providing one-on-one counseling by assessing individual needs, exploring clients’ thoughts and feelings, and developing tailored coping strategies.

• Collaborating with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and focus on their unique needs and preferences.

• Utilizing various assessment tools to monitor client progress and outcomes, ensuring that treatment remains effective and dynamic.

• Coordinating care with fellow clinicians and participating in team meetings to discuss complex cases, allowing for comprehensive approaches to treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30, a demographic often facing significant developmental transitions and mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to support clients in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), where they receive structured support tailored to their needs. This role enables you to make a meaningful impact by assisting clients in overcoming obstacles, fostering resilience, and achieving personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) licensure in New York State.
