Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs, using established clinical protocols.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques.

• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and support groups that address prevalent mental health issues, fostering community and shared experiences.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and effective response strategies.

• Collaborate with a highly qualified team to integrate care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance patient outcomes.

• Educate patients regarding mental health conditions and avenue available for their treatment, guiding them towards community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; however, candidates with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology are preferred.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in New York State.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and proficiency in various evidence-based approaches and therapeutic modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in developing treatment plans and delivering therapeutic services to individuals and groups.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effectively interacting with clients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n
