Pay Range: $23/HR-$25/HR

Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for a  Collections Specialist for our client located in Rolling Meadows, IL. Our client is a well-established organization that is looking for a Collections Specialist to join their team on a 3-month contract basis . The Collections Specialist will be primarily responsible for collecting on past-due invoices and open balances, assisting with cash applications, and researching customer accounts.

 

This is a great opportunity for an entry-to-mid-level Collections professional to join a team-oriented environment and assist with a high-volume cleanup project during a peak season. The ideal Collections Specialist would be able to interview and start shortly after.

 

Collections Specialist Responsibilities:

• Collect on past-due invoices and outstanding customer balances
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices, primarily through email and some phone calls
• Research past-due invoices, open balances, and account discrepancies
• Assist with cash application activities as needed
• Perform customer account maintenance and updates
• Research and resolve account issues and discrepancies
• Help clean up a large customer database and ensure account information is accurate and up to date

Collections Specialist Qualifications:

• Previous Collections experience is required
• Experience with accounts receivable, cash applications, or customer account maintenance is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to research and resolve outstanding account balances
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
