Africa, Near East Regional Policy and Operational Support Staff Officer SME IV

Premier Enterprise Solutions is seeking an Africa, Near East Regional Policy and Operational Support Staff Officer to support the Office of the Undersecretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)) and the Director for Defense Intelligence (DDI) for Operational Support and International Partnerships (OSIP). This critical role delivers high-level policy, operations, and analytic support to OSIP's core mission of developing and managing resources to address intelligence mission requirements and conducting outreach to appropriate DoW and Intelligence Community (IC) elements.

 

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

• Active TS/SCI is required

LOCATION:

• Onsite – Arlington, VA

 

RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:

• Policy & Strategy Development : Develop, review, and revise strategy, policy, and guidance related to intelligence activities, providing expert advice and recommendations on key strategic, planning, programming, budgeting, and policy matters, especially concerning Defense Intelligence and Security Enterprise (DISE) and the intelligence community (IC).
• Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders across the DIE, DoW, IC, CCMDs, Joint Staff, Military Services, CSAs, and international partners on global and intelligence enterprise issues, to identify and manage collaboration requirements.
• Senior Leadership Support: Prepare communications, briefings, presentations, and decision memoranda for OUSW(I&S) senior leaders, supporting deliberations and decisions on complex national and international issues. Facilitate meetings, conferences, and visits.
• International Partnership & Liaison: Provide SME support for International Partner Engagement (PE) Regional Teams, manage initiatives for relationship building, facilitate meetings, and support Foreign Liaison Officers (FLOs).
• Program Oversight & Implementation : Provide policy oversight, implementation planning, and execution of transformational initiatives, including Coalition and Combatant Command IT and Information sharing, Manpower, Reserve Integration and review CCMD progress and compliance.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in staff officer support roles with demonstrated involvement in Policy & Strategy Development, Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination, Senior Leadership Support, International Partnership & Liaison, Program Oversight & Implementation
• Requires expertise in security, resource requirements, formulating strategies, strategic planning and concept development, program analysis and evaluation, policy, and development of solutions that assist with the decision-making process.
• 10 years of experience with Africa, Near East regions
• Must have experience in leading and providing technical guidance and direction involving multiple projects of high complexity.
• Must have experience in managing customer expectations and working directly with customers.
• Must have outstanding customer service abilities, initiative, judgement, creativity, flexibility, and confidence.
• Must have the ability to multi-task across multiple projects.

EDUCATION

• B.A./B.S. from an accredited school
