The Role: We are experiencing continuous growth and are seeking an experienced Lead Propane Dispatcher to drive our Stockton expansion. In this critical operational role, you will be the hub of our facilityutilizing dispatch software to optimize daily routes while directly managing and leading a dedicated team of 5-10 commercial drivers.

Core Responsibilities:

• Plan, distribute, and monitor daily route assignments using dispatch software to ensure customers receive exceptional, strictly scheduled deliveries.
• Manage day-to-day responsibilities for a team of 5-10 drivers, including monitoring time and attendance to maximize efficiency and minimize unnecessary overtime.
• Think critically on your feet to resolve on-the-road logistical hurdles, route changes, and organize resources to hit daily operational goals.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and Account Managers regarding delivery timelines, service requests, and logistical updates.
• Champion a proactive safety culture, ensuring all driving staff adhere to strict safety protocols and compliance standards.

What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications):

• 3 to 5 years of direct experience in commercial dispatching, fleet routing, or logistics management. (Propane, fuel, or hazardous materials transport experience is highly preferred).
• Proven track record of managing, directing, or supervising a team of commercial drivers or field staff.
• High proficiency in professional dispatching/routing software systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of California / Central Valley geography, traffic patterns, and routing times.
• Professional phone etiquette with a demonstrated commitment to high-level customer service in a fast-paced environment.
