About the PositionWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our clients' growing team in the Boston metropolitan area. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned insurance professional who thrives in client-facing roles and possesses a strong technical background, including proficiency with data analysis and risk assessment. The ideal candidate will bring 5-10+ years of commercial insurance experience and demonstrate a proven track record of building lasting client relationships while delivering comprehensive insurance solutions.
Role OverviewAs a Commercial Lines Account Executive, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, managing all aspects of their insurance programs from initial consultation through policy renewal. You will leverage your extensive industry knowledge, analytical capabilities, and relationship management skills to provide strategic risk management advice and ensure optimal coverage for businesses across various industries. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, combined with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management- Serve as the primary relationship manager for an assigned book of commercial insurance clients, maintaining regular contact and serving as their trusted advisor for all insurance and risk management needs
- Conduct comprehensive annual account reviews with clients to assess changing business needs, exposure modifications, and coverage requirements
- Proactively identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within existing accounts to expand coverage and strengthen client relationships
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, policy change requests, and certificate of insurance needs with professionalism and accuracy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier underwriters, claims representatives, and other industry partners to advocate effectively for clients
- Manage the complete policy lifecycle including new business placement, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and audits
