As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for valued commercial clients, managing their insurance needs from policy inception through renewal and beyond. You will work closely with our producers, carriers, and clients to ensure comprehensive coverage solutions that protect their business interests while maintaining strong, lasting relationships.

Primary Responsibilities

Client Account Management

• Serve as the dedicated account manager for an assigned book of commercial insurance clients, acting as their primary contact for all policy-related matters
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication, proactive service, and timely response to inquiries and concerns
• Conduct comprehensive policy reviews to ensure clients maintain adequate coverage limits and appropriate endorsements for their business operations
• Identify coverage gaps and exposure concerns, making recommendations to enhance client protection
• Manage client expectations and deliver solutions that align with their risk management objectives and budgetary constraints

Policy Processing and Administration

• Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and other policy documentation with accuracy and efficiency
• Review and analyze policy documents including General Liability, Commercial Property, Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, and Professional Liability coverages
• Coordinate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, bind coverage, and resolve policy-related issues
• Prepare and present comprehensive insurance proposals and coverage summaries to clients
• Ensure all policy documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with agency standards and regulatory requirements
• Process renewal policies by gathering updated information, marketing accounts to carriers, and presenting options to clients
