Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
Experience conducting comprehensive assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional evaluations
Proficient in interpreting assessment results and providing actionable recommendations
Strong communication, organization, and consultation skills
Ability to work effectively with students, parents, educators, and other school staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Administer and interpret psychological evaluations to identify students’ strengths and areas needing support
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide counseling and intervention services for students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges
Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding effective classroom strategies and supports
Lead or assist in crisis prevention and response, as well as behavioral intervention planning
Maintain ethical standards and adhere to all professional and legal guidelines
