Position SummaryTitle: Assistant Director of AdmissionsDepartment: Reports to Director of AdmissionsClassification: Full time for 2026-2027 school yearSchedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., plus scheduled events with required attendance.OverviewThe Assistant Director of Admissions supports the mission of St. Pius X High School by assisting in the outreach, recruitment, evaluation, and initial enrollment of students who will thrive academically, spiritually, and socially. Working closely with the Director of Admissions, this role helps promote Catholic education, supports families through the admissions process, and serves as a welcoming representative of the school’s faith, values, and community.MissionPrayer, Study, Community, Preaching – this is Dominican education at St. Pius X High School. Inspired by Veritas, young men and women embrace academic excellence and integrity, celebrate the community's diverse gifts and heritage, and embody social justice and service.ResponsibilitiesServe as a primary point of contact for prospective families and feeder schoolsAssist in planning and implementing student outreach and recruitment strategies consistent with the mission and values of Catholic educationReview and evaluate applications in accordance with school policies and admissions criteriaCommunicate regularly with prospective students and families, guiding them through the admissions processCoordinate, support and lead (as appropriate) admissions events such as middle school visits, open houses, shadow days, information sessions, and entrance testingRepresent the school at feeder schools, parish events, fairs, and community outreach activitiesMaintain accurate applicant records in the admissions databaseCollaborate with faculty, administration, campus ministry, and marketing to promote the school’s academic, spiritual, and extracurricular programsSupport application and enrollment reporting and data analysis to meet admissions goalsAssist with scholarship and financial aid communications, as appropriateMay supervise and/or train the Admissions Coordinator and Student AmbassadorsQualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree requiredMinimum 3 years’ experience in admissions, outreach and recruitment, enrollment management, student services, or a related fieldCommitment to and understanding of Catholic education and the SPX missionStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work effectively with students, families, faculty, administration, and community membersProficiency with admissions software, databases, and standard office technologyProfessional attitude and appearanceWillingness to work evenings and weekends during peak admissions seasonsCompletion of safe environment training #J-18808-Ljbffr St-Pius-X-High-School
