LEAD BLOOD BANK CLINICAL LAB SCIENTIST

Responsibilities Lead Blood Bank Clinical Scientist – reports to the Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist/ Supervisor. Assist in the operation of the laboratory by performing specialized tasks involving medical laboratory testing. Perform and report test results, ensuring accuracy. Assist in training and orienting new technologists. Direct the work of laboratory assistants and auxiliary personnel. Maintain working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures. Understand and comply with all quality control policies. Participate fully in the mission of Corona Regional Medical Center and demonstrate behavior consistent with its core values. Support the hospital’s strategic plan and performance improvement efforts. Qualifications Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License required.
