Job Title

Travel RN – Pulmonary Stepdown (IMC/PCU)

Asheville, North Carolina

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Pulmonary Stepdown unit with a patient ratio of 1:3–4
• Perform tracheostomy care, chest tube management, and wound dressing changes
• Monitor and manage patients on cardiac drips and stable ventilated patients
• Operate patient lifts and assist with care of patients requiring advanced respiratory support
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner EMR system
• Float to other med/surg and progressive care units as needed; fulfill weekend shift requirements (6 Saturday or Sunday shifts per 6-week period)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience working with tracheostomy patients
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience with Cerner EMR
• Strong flexibility and high level of clinical competence in a stepdown or progressive care setting
