Accounting Specialist

Accounting SpecialistElektro Assemblies is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Accounting Specialist professional to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting, business, and office functions while helping keep the business organized and running efficiently.The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change. This person should be a problem solver who takes ownership, follows through, and looks for ways to make processes better.Key ResponsibilitiesManage accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsProcess invoices, payments, deposits, and customer billingAssist with bank and account reconciliationsMaintain accurate financial recordsAssist with month-end close and financial reportingMonitor customer accounts and support collectionsMaintain organized accounting documentationWork closely with management and outside accounting resourcesOffice & Business SupportManage day-to-day office support functionsMaintain files, records, and company documentationAssist with purchasing, supplies, and vendor coordinationSupport employee onboarding and general administrative needsAnswer phones, greet visitors, and provide professional customer and employee supportCoordinate meetings, schedules, and other office activitiesHelp establish and improve business processesTechnology & Process ImprovementUtilize Microsoft Office, especially Excel, at a high levelLeverage technology and AI tools to improve efficiencyIdentify opportunities to streamline accounting and other business processesMaintain accurate data and documentation across company systemsIdeal CandidateExtremely detail-oriented and organizedPersonable, approachable, and professionalSelf-motivated with a strong sense of ownershipStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and follow-throughComfortable working independently while being a team playerStrong Microsoft Office and Excel skillsAccounting or bookkeeping experienceAble to handle confidential information professionallyExperience in a manufacturing environment is a plusEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field preferred.2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.Equivalent education and relevant work experience will be considered.Strong Excel skills requiredExperience with accounting software preferredManufacturing industry experience is a plus.Why Elektro Assemblies?Elektro Assemblies is a rapidly growing company focused on aggressive, profitable growth.
