Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

• PRN, shifts available: weekends, evening call coverage and weekday coverage (when needed)
• Hours 8-5, round-and-go
• Provide psychiatric patient care to adults and adolescence in an inpatient setting
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
• Provide interventions and behavioral management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
• Typical case load 14-16 patients/day

• Daily rate (W2 position)
• Paid after-hour call coverage (voluntary/by rotation)
• Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage

• Active, unrestricted Tennessee license as a PMHNP
• Active DEA or willingness to obtain
• Minimum of 1-year experience as a PMHNP clinician in an inpatient setting

• Developed infrastructure with extensive back office as well as local management support
