Social Media Marketing Intern

Trade-Based Internship | Includes Full 4-Day Festival Access River Valley Yoga Festival — one of the largest yoga festivals in Minnesota — is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to help grow awareness, engagement, and attendance across multiple digital platforms. This internship is ideal for students or emerging professionals interested in social media marketing, digital communications, branding, wellness, and live event promotion. Responsibilities Assist with social media promotion leading up to the festival Create and schedule content for: Facebook Instagram TikTok X (Twitter) LinkedIn Design graphics and promotional materials using Canva Create reels, stories, posts, and short-form video content Write engaging captions and promotional copy Support audience engagement and community interaction Assist with live social media coverage during the festival Qualifications Interest in social media marketing, communications, or digital media Familiarity with social media platforms and Canva Creative, organized, and dependable Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Time Commitment Approximately 5–10 hours per week Flexible remote schedule leading up to the festival Some onsite participation during the 4-day event is encouraged Compensation This is a trade-based internship and is not a paid position.
