Radiology Faculty Position, Division of Nuclear Medicine (Open Rank)

Position Overview The Department of Radiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician‑Educator. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience. Qualifications Applicants must hold an M.D. degree or equivalent and an Illinois Medical license prior to appointment start date. Candidates must hold board certification in Diagnostic Radiology from the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and in Nuclear Medicine from the American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM) or subspecialty certification of Nuclear Radiology from the ABR. Responsibilities Qualified candidates will have considerable expertise in all aspects of clinical Nuclear Medicine, including general nuclear medicine, therapy, and hybrid molecular imaging (PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and PET/MR). The successful candidate is expected to provide a collegial and collaborative environment that promotes programmatic growth, excellent patient care, and interdisciplinary research. The department provides protected time to allow focus on grant writing, teaching/education, and administration. The Division of Nuclear Imaging provides clinical services at Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH) and its affiliates. The position will be located at NMH, a state‑of‑the‑art tertiary medical center in downtown Chicago, serving as the primary teaching hospital of the Feinberg School of Medicine and the academic center of the Northwestern Medicine network.
