Sales Engineer – AI / Fintech (San Francisco)
Looking for experienced Sales Engineers who combine technical depth with strong sales, customer, and demo skills. Join a small but thriving AI fintech selling complex enterprise technology to banks, credit unions, and financial institutions.
Comp: $150K–$200K base | $214K–$286K OTE + competitive equity
This role is on-site 5 days/week in Downtown San Francisco.
????️ You will:
- Own the technical side of $100K–$250K+ ACV enterprise deals from discovery through close.
- Partner with AEs across discovery, tailored demos, technical scoping, and POCs.
- Build and deliver compelling demos mapped to each customer's business problems and technical environment.
- Translate complex AI, product, and integration concepts for both technical and business stakeholders.
- Own RFP/RFI responses, POC summaries, technical proposals, and delivery/SOW scoping.
- Navigate APIs, integrations, and complex enterprise customer environments.
- Use AI and prompt engineering to create stronger demos, RFP responses, and technical narratives.

- 4+ years of Sales Engineering / Solutions Engineering experience.
- Strong mix of sales ability, customer experience, technical depth, and demo articulation.
- Domain experience in fintech, financial services, AI, banking and credit unions
- Tech product focused experience.
- Experience partnering with AEs on $100K–$250K+ enterprise deals.
- Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
- Willing to work on-site 5 days/week in Downtown San Francisco.

- Conversational AI/Voice AI knowledge or experience.
- Core banking systems experience.
- Engineering or product-oriented technical background.
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Early-stage or high-growth startup experience.
- Strong use of AI tools and prompt engineering in daily pre-sales workflows.
