Career Accelerator Program - Applications Engineer

Applications Engineers at Texas Instruments (TI) are a highly motivated, synergistic group with strong commitment to the customer. In this role, you will promote TI products and provide technical solutions to customers that will ultimately be incorporated into consumer products such as smartphones, PC peripherals, personal medical devices, electric cars, e‑bikes and more. Responsibilities Engage with customers virtually and in person to solve their toughest technical challenges. Understand customer needs, develop end‑equipment expertise, and help define how TI products can meet those needs. Position products within a product line, identify typical problems and barriers, and demonstrate how to test/debug and solve customer problems at a system level. Participate in cross‑functional projects and provide technical support to help define new products and future product development opportunities. Gain exposure to roles such as Product Marketing and Systems & Digital Marketing through formal learning and on‑the‑job experiences. Qualifications Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Bio‑Medical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field. Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher. Preferred qualifications: Basic understanding of schematics, layouts, and digital components. Knowledge of analog circuitry (e.g., op‑amps, DC/DC power, data converters, sensing). Programming skills in C/C++ (LabView recommended). Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes), soldering, and debugging skills. Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively across functions. Initiative and drive for results. Strong time‑management skills that enable on‑time project delivery.
