Onsite Lab Support Clerk

Labcorp seeks a Lab Support Clerk for onsite work in Munster, Indiana, responsible for specimen preparation, data entry, and accessioning in a clinical laboratory environment. The role involves specimen handling, client communication, and ensuring accuracy in a high-throughput setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
- Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
- Research, troubleshoot, and resolve customer and specimen issues
- Pack and ship specimens to appropriate testing facilities
- Perform specimen spinning, freezing, splitting, and other special services as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ year laboratory, accessioning, production, or manufacturing experience
- Ability to accurately identify and label biological specimens
- Strong data entry and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds
- Pass standardized color blindness test
