Job Title HVAC Technician – Telecommunications Shelters Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and replace components of commercial HVAC and cooling systems. Conduct performance checks and regular preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment. Perform maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season HVAC equipment. Respond to service calls promptly, including emergency call‑out services. Complete daily work reports accurately and in a timely manner. Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per company policy and insurance requirements. Qualifications & Experience Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified – required. 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred). Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to travel extensively and work independently. Must be available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion. Capacity to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds. Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical. Compensation Hourly rate: $27.00–$38.00 USD (DOE) Additional compensation may include performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment stipends, fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem, and other applicable benefits.
