Benefits that are offered to each employee - After 30 days you are eligible for 5 Paid Vacation Days that will begin to accrue. - 5 days of Leave without pay - 6 Days of Holiday Pay throughout the year as well.Position SummaryAs an Automotive Tire Technician for Big O Tires, you will be responsible for servicing and performing maintenance of tires and wheels in an accurate and timely manner. You are honest, have a solid work ethic and high motivation.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMounting and dismounting automotive tiresInstalling new wheelsAttaching and re-balancing wheelsRepairing, rotating, and inflating tiresPerforming oil changes or any type of flushes and maintenanceCalibrating TPMSInventory stockingParticipating in training & follows safety proceduresTesting and installing batteriesTest-driving vehicles after maintenanceQualificationsValid driver's licenseMust be at least 18+ years oldAvailability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as neededReliable transportation to workAbility to learn new concepts and use technical materialsCapability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehiclesWillingness to work with hazardous materials and in outdoor weather conditionsComplies with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) regulationsAbility to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or driving) for up to nine hours per shiftAbility to move and lift up to 75 poundsAbility to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and criminal background checkWe are an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to a policy of non-discrimination in employment on any basis including race, creed, color, age, sex, religion or national origin.
