As a Security Officer Access Operations in Olathe, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable, and innovative approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or delivery credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, trailers, docks, and/or operational spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation related to access activity, deliveries, and/or other security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to gates, parking areas, loading zones, and other high-traffic locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
