Work Schedule Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks), days shift. Pay $33.82 - $50.73 per hour, dependent on experience. Minimum Requirements B.S. in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program. Internal candidates may hold an ASRT if a BSRT is in progress. RRT National RT State. State licensure as Respiratory Therapist (RT) and NBRC – RRT. 3 years of respiratory therapy experience in an acute care setting. Instructional teaching experience, both formal and informal. BLS or CPR card valid through 60 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications Advancement to Level III in the STAR clinical ladder program. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS). Neonatal and Pediatric Specialist (NPS). Experience managing ventilator integration and airway management across multiple levels of care. Participation in process improvement projects at unit, division, regional or system level. Responsibilities Provide top‑of‑scope respiratory therapy practice in a direct patient care environment following protocols and best practices to promote optimized care. Partner with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional care outcomes. Prioritize patient well‑being, perspective, and evidence‑based practice. Precept and educate new staff in respiratory therapy and UCHealth protocols. Model proficiency in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment. Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
