The Department of Surgery is atop-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff. A full-time faculty position is available in the Department ofSurgery Division of Transplantation at the University of CincinnatiCollege of Medicine. This position will support the University’smission and commitment to excellence in our students, faculty,staff and all our activities. The position will be a two-yearfellowship position, accredited by the American Society ofTransplant Surgeons (ASTS), focusing on solid organ transplant andvascular access. EssentialFunctions Perform clinical duties in general surgery, solid organtransplant, and vascular access, under the supervision of attendingsurgeons. Alongside and under the supervision of attending surgeons, willassist in the didactic and clinical education for the generalsurgery residency program, and for medical students that rotate inthe Division of Transplantation. Attend departmental and divisional meetings as relevant, toinclude participation in grand rounds and morbidity and mortality(M&M) review. MinimumRequirements Ohio Medical License Medical Degree (MD/DO) Completion of 5-year residency in surgery PhysicalRequirements/Work Environment Office environment/no specific unusual physical orenvironmental demands.
