Specimen Processing Supervisor

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processing Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the non-technical Accessioning department in Tucker, Georgia. The role involves supervising staff, preparing laboratory specimens, managing workflow scheduling, resolving production errors, and maintaining quality assurance standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise non-technical staff and manage day-to-day Accessioning department operations
• Directly train, mentor, and provide coaching to department personnel
• Monitor workflow, schedule adequate coverage, and ensure proper shift staffing
• Research and resolve production errors, escalating issues as needed
• Perform quality assurance checks and maintain QA records and documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years clinical laboratory experience
• 3+ years people leadership experience
• 3+ years supervisory experience
• Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Pass standardized color blindness test
