About the Role

The Company is seeking a General Counsel to provide strategic legal advice on a range of corporate governance, compliance, and business-related legal matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of the organization's operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and managing a variety of legal documents and agreements. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. The General Counsel will also be involved in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance and will act as the primary point of contact for all legal inquiries within the organization. Applicants for the General Counsel position at the company should have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school, a valid license to practice law, and extensive knowledge of corporate law, compliance, and regulatory frameworks, particularly in the health technology or related industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a fast-paced, highly regulated direct-to-consumer environment and possess exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. A proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing legal matters is essential, and previous experience in designing and building legal departments is highly beneficial. The role offers the opportunity to work in a professional and collaborative environment, with a focus on expertise in legal and compliance matters within a highly regulated space.
