Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate collaboration with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for students.

• Assist students and families in understanding their diagnoses, treatment options, and medication plans, fostering an empowered approach to mental health.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, consistently utilizing evidence-based modalities to optimize patient engagement and outcomes.

• Develop and regularly update individualized treatment plans in partnership with the treatment team, ensuring alignment with student goals and preferences.

• Guide students in navigating the mental health system, advocating for their rights and accessing necessary resources to support their well-being.

• Lead therapeutic groups, psychoeducational sessions, and facilitate discharge planning meetings, promoting a comprehensive approach to mental wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is to support students and families dealing with various mental health challenges within the school setting. You will address a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders, fostering resilience and coping strategies for better emotional regulation.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.
