Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Float Pool Schedule This position requires 3 × 12-hour shifts per week, from 07:00 – 19:30. Job Description The Registered Nurse in the Float Pool will provide essential nursing care across various units, including Cardiac Telemetry, Med/Surg Telemetry, and Surgical Telemetry. This role involves working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and safety. Responsibilities Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician. Collaborate with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals to individualize care plans. Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care. Stay informed on current nursing practices and techniques, specifically related to cardiac and stroke patients. Administer and manage medications including but not limited to Ammio, Nitro, and Cardizem. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must hold a current PA Registered Nurse License. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical specialty; travel experience is preferred.
