Production Supervisor 3rd Shift

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop an environment that champions high employee morale promoting fair and equal treatment while also driving results. Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas, with a focus of continuous improvement. Develop and execute daily plan considering vacations, scheduled & unscheduled absenteeism, and over-time within budget and adhering to company policies. Ensure that each person on shift is trained and knows how to do the job correctly per the work instructions. Monitor personnel performance and develop actions that continue to enhance their skills, knowledge and motivation on the job. Execute the production schedule and coordinate manpower needs accordingly. Facilitate a clean, organized and safe working environment for all employees. This is not an all-inclusive job description and there will be times that the position holder will be asked to perform miscellaneous other duties, as assigned, but not essential to this particular job and/or description. Other duties as assigned.

THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT ROLE 10:30 PM – 7:30 AM

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma and/or GED 2+ years of experience supervising employees in a manufacturing environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree preferable or equivalent. Strong oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft suite including: Excel, Word and PowerPoint. #J-18808-Ljbffr Carrier
