Territory: US Midwest + Southern Canada

Location: preferred max 1.5 hr commuting from MI, Detroit. Candidates based in IL, IN e OH states can be considered as well

Direct report to: CEO Business Unit USA.

Functional report to: Head of Sales Italia.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing business within the assigned territory, identifying customer needs and technical requirements, establishing new accounts, and supporting customers with technically oriented sales solutions. The role will work closely with the technical support staff at the Italian headquarters and coordinate Sales Representatives actions and strategy in the assigned territory in line with company guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve customers by identifying their needs and engineering request/adaptations of products, equipment, and services.

• Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing business relationship with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand technical requirements

• Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.

• Establish new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedule.

• Determine improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.

• Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.

• Confer with technical support staff from Italian HQ

• Prepare sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.

• Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives from the company strategy.

• Update sales CRM with visit reports and contacts collected during customer visits in the assigned Territory.

• Coordinate Sales Representatives actions and strategy in the assigned Territory, following the main company guidelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: 5+ years proven track record as a Sales Manager / Sales Rep, selling B2B equipment with high level of technology (industrial automation/robotic is preferred, preferred market of application: automotive, foundry, fluid power).

• Languages: Fluent in English, knowledge of Italian is a plus

• Availability to travel approx. xhyhwjd 120 days / year at customers' sites.

COMPENSATION and benefits

• ABS: $100,000–$120,000 + 20% MBO
• Car allowance – 520 $ / month
