Account Manager – Corporate Accounting

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to oversee corporate accounting operations, manage financial reporting processes, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in corporate accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities, while maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee corporate accounting functions and daily accounting operations.
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare, review, and approve journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies, and internal controls.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze financial data and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams on accounting and reporting matters.
• Assist with internal and external audits and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
