This is a sales-focused opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys developing new business, building lasting customer relationships, and helping people protect what matters most.

You’ll have access to agency-generated leads, customer referrals, and opportunities within our established customer base, along with the ability to develop additional business through your own prospecting efforts.

We offer a base salary of $55,000–$60,000, depending on qualifications and experience, plus uncapped commission opportunities that reward your production.

Realistic target annual compensation, including commissions, is $55,000–$75,000, with the potential to earn more based on individual performance.

• First-Year Hiring Incentive

Qualified, experienced, currently licensed insurance professionals may be eligible for an additional hiring incentive of up to $2,000, earned through established employment milestones during their first year.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Generate new business through agency-provided leads, referrals, prospecting, and relationship building.
• Conduct insurance needs assessments and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
• Present and sell auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance products within your licensing authority.
• Identify opportunities to expand relationships with existing customers through additional coverage and protection options.
• Develop and manage an active sales pipeline, including consistent follow-up with prospective customers.
• Meet established sales and production goals while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Collaborate with agency leadership and team members to support continued agency growth.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 
Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Previous insurance sales experience with demonstrated success generating new business.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and sales closing skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and confidently recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working toward established production goals.
• Strong follow-up skills and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to work full-time in our Glenmont, NY office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of insurance sales experience.
• Active Life & Health insurance license.
• Previous experience working in a State Farm agency or another established insurance agency.
• Demonstrated success with referrals, cross-selling, and developing long-term customer relationships.
