Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer – Multispecialty Ultrasound

Location: Plainview, TX
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days (4x10s)
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: Local: $60–$75/hr | Travel: $75–$82/hr
On-Call: Required

We are seeking an experienced Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer to join a multidisciplinary imaging team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, including cardiac, vascular, OB/GYN, breast, and general ultrasound examinations while providing exceptional patient care.

• Perform general, vascular, OB/GYN, breast, and cardiac ultrasound examinations.

• Conduct adult echocardiograms, contrast echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms.

• Prepare patients and explain imaging procedures.

• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.

• Recognize and document abnormal findings appropriately.

• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.

• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, cardiologists, and healthcare teams.

• Complete accurate EMR documentation.

• Participate in on-call coverage as assigned.

• Recent experience as an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer in a hospital setting.

• Experience with general, vascular, OB/GYN, breast, transvaginal, and cardiac ultrasound imaging.

• Experience with contrast echo and stress echo studies.

• Ability to work independently across multiple ultrasound modalities.

• Strong communication and patient care skills.

• Relevant ultrasound and/or cardiac sonography certifications preferred.

• First-time travelers accepted.
