Title: Tier 1 Service Desk Technician
Location: Columbus, Ohio | Onsite
Duration: 6-12+ Months
Job Requirement & Skill Set::
Experience level:
- Experienced Tier 1 Service Desk technician
Technical / service balance:
- Equal importance on technical troubleshooting and customer service/communication.
Independence:
- Solid fundamentals; moderate guidance and coaching are acceptable while learning the environment and processes.
Technical priorities:
- Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Basic Entra, basic hardware and peripheral troubleshooting
Support model:
- First point of contact by phone, email, and in person; able to perform remote troubleshooting, and ask effective diagnostic questions; Own the Outcome
Security/procedures:
- Comfortable working in a structured government environment with established security policies, standards, and procedures
Availability/environment
- Office-based position; able to support special operational needs such as Election Night
Long-term fit:
- Reliability and consistency, customer service and team fit, and growth potential are equally important
