About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Extended Studies to provide visionary and operational leadership for a diverse portfolio of revenue-generating academic programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and implementing a comprehensive strategy to expand access, drive sustainable growth, and position the organization as a leader in innovation and impact. This role involves cultivating strategic partnerships, championing entrepreneurial thinking, and advancing institutional priorities. The Executive Director will also be expected to have a strong background in program development, strategic growth, enrollment expansion, and budget oversight, as well as the ability to lead complex, cross-functional teams. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years' professional experience, with at least 6 years in a supervisory or management role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in program development, strategic growth, and revenue generation, and possess excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. A preference is given to those with an advanced degree and experience in professional and continuing education, online education, or workforce development. The role requires a leader with the ability to think strategically, articulate a compelling vision, and lead organizational change, as well as a strong understanding of the needs of adult and nontraditional learners.
