\nKey Details - Assignment Type: Locum Tenens- Setting: Outpatient Clinic- Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM- Patient Population: Adult- Location: Upper Marlboro, MD

\nJob Responsibilities - Perform upper gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopies, including biopsies, foreign body removal, and bleeder cauterization.- Conduct lower GI endoscopies such as sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision.- Handle patient procedures with moderate sedation, occasionally supported by anesthesiology.
\nQualifications - Board Certified in Gastroenterology- BLS and ACLS certification required- Experience with moderate sedation techniques- Completed fellowship in Gastroenterology
\nWorking Hours - Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
\nSkills - Proficiency in performing GI endoscopic procedures- Comfort with administering moderate sedation- Ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff and support personnel- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
