Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II Float to support our client’s medical facility, based in Pembroke Pines, FL 33025

This is a TEMP-TO-HIRE job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Pembroke Pines, FL 33025

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 4:00 AM
Saturday 6:30 AM - 11:00 AM (40hrs/week)

Pay Range: $22.79 - $24.41/hr

(Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

Education:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training (such as medical assistant or paramedic programs) is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.
