Job Title: Phlebotomist II Float
Location: Pembroke Pines, FL 33025
Duration: 3 months (possible extension)
Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 4:00 AM. Saturday 6:30 AM - 11:00 AM

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• Have direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
• Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection. Phlebotomy experience - pediatric and geriatric capillary and venipuncture - required.
• Demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
• Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public in general.

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Customer service experience in a healthcare or retail setting (Preferred)
• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Reliable personal transportation (public transportation, Uber, or rideshare not acceptable)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (Required)
• Eligible for mileage reimbursement when traveling between sites
• Must be punctual and ready to work at any assigned location within the coverage area

• Strong phlebotomy and patient interaction skills
• Independent and able to manage time effectively
• Flexible, adaptable, and dependable in changing environments
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting
• Professional and patient-focused attitude

• This is a float position that will require frequent travel between patient service centers and in-office phlebotomy sites within the assigned region. Training locations may vary depending on trainer availability.
