Adit replaces the pile of disconnected software that dental, optometry, chiropractic, and orthodontic practices in the US have been stuck with for decades. Calls, texts, patient forms, online scheduling, reviews, analytics, and payments run in one platform, integrated with the practice management systems clinics already use - Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental. Thousands of practices run their front office on us. Some have cut ten vendors down to one.

Our users aren't software buyers by training. They're front-desk staff at a US dental clinic answering a phone with a patient standing in front of them. That constraint shapes everything we build - and it means part of this job is getting genuinely close to a customer you'll rarely meet in person.

About the role

A dental practice buys Adit to replace six tools. Whether that actually happens comes down to one thing: whether the front-desk team learns the new system well enough to trust it during a busy Monday. That's your job.

You'll teach practice staff how to run their front office on Adit - live onboarding sessions, refresher training when a practice adds a module, and the self-serve library people reach for at 7am before the first patient.

You'll work with people who did not choose this software, are not technical, and have a waiting room filling up. Meeting them where they are is the whole skill.

You'll also be one of the sharpest sources of product feedback in the company. Nobody sees confusion earlier or more often than the person teaching.

What you'll do

• Run live onboarding and training sessions for new practices, remotely and occasionally onsite, scheduled around clinic hours rather than ours.
• Build and maintain the self-serve library - short videos, quick-reference guides, in-app walkthroughs - so common questions stop needing a live session at all.
• Tailor training to the audience. A practice owner, an office manager, and a part-time front-desk hire need three different sessions, not one deck delivered three times.
• Own training for new releases: know what shipped, decide what needs explaining, and get it out before support gets the tickets.
• Track whether training worked - feature adoption, time-to-first-value, ticket volume from trained versus untrained practices - and change the program when it doesn't.
• Feed patterns back to product. If you explain the same screen the same way every time, that screen has a design problem and product should hear it from you.
• Support the sales team with product demonstrations and training content for prospects when needed.
• Keep materials current as the product changes, which it does constantly.

What we're looking for

• 2-5 years training, customer education, onboarding, or implementation experience - or classroom teaching plus demonstrated software fluency. Career-changing teachers do well in this role.
• You can teach a non-technical adult something they didn't want to learn, and leave them confident rather than nodding politely.
• Clear speaking and writing. You'll be on camera daily and your written guides outlive your sessions.
• Comfort producing your own content - screen recordings, short videos, written guides - without a production team.
• Patience with people under time pressure, and the judgment to know when to stop explaining and start doing.
• Willingness to work early mornings, since that's when a dental office can spare thirty minutes.

Nice to have

• You've worked in a dental, medical, optometry, or veterinary practice. You'd be teaching your former colleagues and you'd be very good at it.
• Experience with practice management systems - Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental.
• Instructional design background, or experience with an LMS or customer education platform.
• Video editing and screen-recording fluency.
• Spanish.
