Lead Medical AssistantAs a Lead Medical Assistant, you will report to the Center Administrator. This is an onsite outpatient setting located at our Powdersville Clinic in Greenville, SC.The Lead Medical Assistant performs clinical duties. These duties include discussing symptoms and obtaining vital signs. They also include medication/vaccine administration, phlebotomy, and collecting specimens. Additionally, they involve performing diagnostic screening tests, sterilizing/cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms. Furthermore, they require documenting information into the electronic medical records system. Collaborates closely with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. Delivers direct patient care dependent on what active certification allows. Works within broad guidelines with little oversight. The Lead Medical Assistant possesses advanced skills and knowledge, contributes to process improvement, delivers in-depth education/training, and provides advanced guidance/mentoring to other Medical Assistants.RequiredSuccessful completion of MA school/training program and a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with 5+ years of experience and approval from ProviderHigh school diploma or equivalentCPR CertifiedThis role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.PreferredPhlebotomy experience• Medication/vaccine administration experience3+ years of MA experienceValue Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communicationScheduled Weekly Hours: 40Pay Range: $48,300 - $65,900 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
