The Opportunity The business is seeking a hands‑on, high‑energy Ready Mix Area Manager to lead operations across three plants within the Georgia region. Two of the three plants are newer operations alongside an established site. The role offers a clear opportunity to directly influence growth while strengthening operational foundations for future expansion. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving operational performance, leading teams, supporting growth initiatives, and ensuring customers receive consistent, high‑quality service. Key Responsibilities Lead daily operations across three ready‑mix plants to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable production. Oversee batching, production scheduling, dispatch coordination, and delivery performance. Manage and develop a team of approximately 15 drivers and plant personnel, with scope to scale significantly over time. Act as a visible, hands‑on leader and mentor across all sites. Partner closely with Quality Control to maintain product consistency and standards. Identify and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and service levels. Coordinate logistics and resources across locations to maximise performance. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards. Support broader growth strategy and capability building across the business. What We’re Looking For Proven leadership experience within ready‑mix concrete (RMX) operations. Strong understanding of plant operations and mix design. Experience managing teams and driving accountability in a fast‑paced environment. High‑energy, hands‑on leadership style with a servant leadership approach. Ability to improve processes, solve problems, and lead from the front. Area management experience preferred but not essential. Candidates based in Georgia or open to relocation preferred. Degree not required — practical industry experience is most important.
